Since the raw materials (seeds, plant variety etc.), methods of extraction and extraction agents used, as well as standardisation and production, have an important influence on the composition and quality and thus also the efficacy of the herbal medicinal product, the results of our large-scale studies refer not to the plants being assessed, but only to the final preparation.

Since it is not possible to copy a complex plant extract, there are no generic products (medicinal products with the same active substance) in the field of phytopharmaceuticals.
